Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching emergency services. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls.
- Gather necessary information to determine the nature of the call and the appropriate response
- Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to designated locations
- Monitor and track the status of dispatched units to ensure timely arrival
- Maintain accurate records of all calls, dispatches, and related activities
- Provide clear and concise instructions to field personnel regarding assignments and directions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of operations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Proficient typing skills for data entry purposes
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and quickly
- First aid certification is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
